5TH ANNUAL MOVE A THON IS COMING–FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6TH, 2017

Please look at the schedule and information that your child/children brought home on Friday, September 22nd. Our Pep Rally and Move A Thon was held during the afternoon. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and all of the money brought in comes right back to Curlew to buy materials for your children. Please do what you can to help support this fantastic fundraiser.

WELCOME OUR NEW PHYSICAL EDUCATION STAFF MEMBER

The Physical Education staff would like to welcome Regina Dudley to our team. Regina joined us in late August, and we are happy to have her at our school. Regina is also assisting Mrs. Brinkman with the 3 and 4 year olds for their daily physical education classes. They are doing a fantastic job with the classes.

FEELIN GOOD MILEAGE CLUB NEWS

We started our club on Wednesday, September 20th. This is a jogging/walking- based incentive and cardiovascular endurance activity. It allows the student a chance to earn toe tokens each time they complete 5 miles. 4 laps around our field will equal one mile.

This year we are doing the club a little different. The students will participate in this jogging/walking activity every 3rd day of each week when they come out to PE. Check your child’s schedule for their PE days. During this time, which will last between 20 – 25 minutes, they will also be listening to music and being able to socialize with friends while they participate.

If you would like to come out and jog/walk with your child, feel free to do so. Thank you, and come on out and join us!
